From Vodafone: To let you know you're nearly at the end of your monthly data allowance of 500MB. If you need to use additional data there will be a charge of £5 incVAT per 500MB , however we won't start charging until 1 October 2010. To stop these alerts, text STOP to 40506 Sent SEP 17 @18:56 UK

just got this text today. what do you all think i should do?

just sent this email to them

Hi, im emailing because i recieved a text message yesterday saying that i was cose to my download limit and i would be charged £5 extra if i went over 500mb. this is NOT what i signed up for when i took the contract and if i do have to go over my limit it is going to basically increase my contract price of £45 to £50 which is more than 10% in increase. with this change in my contract i wish to cancel.

does anyone have any advice?

i read that thread when it first came out. cant be bothered trawling it again. so heres my finale

Hello Mr. Casey,

I have checked your data usage and can see that your you exceeded by 10% and as the terms and condition your account will be cancelled on 30th September 2010 and will waived the early termination fee. You will receive the confirmation letter by post within next 5-7 working days at your billing address.

You will receive your final bill which will include your line rental and usage until to the cancellation of your contract.

I trust the above information is helpful.

Kind regards,
