i'm at this lil place and was searching for a class 6 card because I assume its faster then class 4 or 2 (please correct if wrong). All I have found here is a sony's micro sd 8gb class 4 card for 37 singapore dollars. Is it going to be fast enough? Like all i'm buying a microsd only for installing meego builds or someother os like maybe nitdroid and I'm hoping that 8gb will be a lot for that because I dont keep a huge collection of movies or songs on my device, my n900 still has a storage of more then 16gb left. So 8gb is fine and it is fast right? Also if I transfer my songs or videos on it will the media player (or the device in general be more responsive). And btw 37 SGD are a bit expensive for 8gb isnt it (but i guess anything from sony is expensive anyway??)?
Thanks for replies in advance. I'm here for another 3 or 4 hours so please reply quick thanks !
so i guess the the lesson learned is: "if you want a thing done well, do it yourself"
