Hyy , I just got my N900 yesterday, I unboxed it, put the battery, and switched on the power switch, nothings happened, and then I charged the phone, in the first time there's no LED on when I connected the charger, after a hour LED was on with solid orange light, I kept waiting for couple hours, but no luck, it can't still turn on, boot, start up, it shows nothing when I press power button so dissapointed please help me guys!?

warranty ? have you inserted battery well ?

How long did you hold the button down for? It takes a rather long time I would say about 5+ seconds. Once you press the button the led with start to glow and you will feel a slight vibration when it boots.

Well, try removing the battery and such, and will it do anything plugged into pc??

If not you have a broken phone and i would suggest returning it for a repair/exchange

Yes it has warranty, I think I put the battery correctly, one more info about my nokia is... When I charge It, the solid orange LED will dissapear after 20 minutes, I don't know why

And I press the power button more than 5 seconds... But stilll nothing happens,

Please tell me the possibility of this problem bad battery? Or what guys?

Well I have tried to remove the battery, still no luck, when I plug it to pc, the solid orange light appeares, and pc says found new hardware about 5 minutes after its plugged... Hmmm

Sounds like something's broken. Could be a bad battery. I'd say take it back to the shop.

you removed the black film covering the screen?

ofcourse you did

Orange = charging. To power it on, you have to -hold- the power button in for a few seconds.
