I've been searching for days for a equalizer / tutorial / guide but haven't found any. So can someone give me a tutorial how to change the equalizer setting trough x terminal? Is this even possible, i don't know.

Thanks ahead.

I'm not sure what the equalizer settings are, but I believe they are handled by pulseaudio. You should be able to change basic volume settings in x terminal via alsamixer and amixer.

type alsamixer in x-terminal (looks like a good old dos shell)
but the only options are volume level of microphone and speaker (use "tab" to switch between micro and speaker)
