cd /usr/bin/
<name of the program>
and it should launch the program from meego os.

The title of this thread should be "Running MeeGo in chroot like Easy Debian". Thanks for all your hard work qole!

Hey Qole,

I have a question for you. I have followed your steps and was able to get Meego running but when it launches the top third of the screen is white (bottom third shows the Meego desktop).

When the nested X-server first loads, it works normally. It also works fine for Easy Debian.

Any ideas on this?

Thanks
DJ

I've noticed that white band problem, too. It has that problem sometimes with me too, and other times, there's no problem. Not sure why it happens...

If I get it, I just sudo closechroot and try again...

In my experience, the white band invariably appeared when chrootmeego was already active before running debmee.
