hey peeps can sum1 pls explain from scratch, hot to download transmission, thnxi just cant figure it out

Also it's socially uncool to make your thread title "How" - be more descriptive. "How do I download transmission?"

I thought the title was very insensitive to American Indians on TV in the 1950's.

What's wrong with opening App Manager adding the right repository, and downloading it that way?

I think repo have transmission 1.76 and not 2.04 . Haven't tried 1.76 though.
But ya repo is the easier way though.

Hmm, never noticed the version in the repos was relatively ancient, version-wise. This is why I hate it when stuff doesn't make it to the repos. They are there for a reason. Especially the devel one.

No hate on the Op, but i think it would be good to give new user a Quiz/test or simple tests on how tos w/N900 or maemo or nokia and thread making etiquette before okaying the registration.
