I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge as to why the Iphone manages to keep it's value for such a long time....and why the iphone 4 is so highly priced compared to all the other phones out there...is it because of the brand? or do they have superior technology??

Because the n900 has already lost 25% of it's value and is now selling for £374.99 while the iphone 3gs is still selling for £589.99...ok i just noticed that the n900 was released about a year before iphone 3gs so i took the price for the first iphone and the price for that was still about £500...

All priced have been taken from Amazon.co.uk

That too, Apple has very cleverly created a false shortage of iPhones/iPads to maintain their market value.

Though there is never a shortage for marketing/corporate businesses.

I can get an iPhone for my company in seconds compared to the 2 month waiting list as a regular consumer.
