Yesterday i used " apt-get -f install "
every thing was fine after that i went for reboot and now i am facing problem

The home screen is always going to the portrait mode as it is not normal and so when i make a phone call the phone use to reboot itself

please help me as there is no portrait mode for homescreen

please let me know what is the problem and where i went wrong

even if you hold it in landscape? did you have rotate daemon installed by any chance?

"apt-get -f install" simply fixes any broken packages, redownloading them if needed. If you have extras-devel enabled, you could have downloaded a new glitched version of one of your packages - Remember that extras-devel is full of buggy software that hasn't been tested by anyone but the developer.

Do you have rotate deamon or a similar app installed? If so uninstall and your screen will be back to normal.
