Google Zeitgeist is a snapshot in time of "what people are searching for" on Google all over the world. (Everyone knows this)..

In Fastest Rising in Consumer Electronics category for 2010, Nokia N900 stands at 5th place.

http://www.google.com/intl/en/press/zeitgeist2010/

First and second spots are taken by iPad and iphone4 resp. Nokia 5530 is at third place...(hee hee hee). HTC Evo 4g is at fourth place.

Just click on Nokia N900 from above link and you will find "Top searches", "Interest over time" etc for N900.

that's pretty interesting, I wonder what country that would be from?
At least we aren't on the fastest falling list

i guess there's two topics on this:

found with google, of course

this suggests it is people looking at the n900 in reference to meego

It seems most searches came from Lebanon, Nigeria etc
Countries that are irrelevant to me.

I wonder if this proves that N900 is more for geeks, since they used Google instead of you know asking the smartphone salesman, friend, family etc.

dunno, but i can tell you for sure in my case asking a smartphone salesman/friend/family member about anything to do with my n900 = epic fail, :P

if not for TMO and my own local n900 online community, i'd be up you know what creek without a paddle, lol
