im running 2.6.28.10power42

and had probs with the fcam drivers & related apps. I then followed instructions to uninstall all fcam related progs and drivers. After phone reboots default camera app works fine. Then, reinstalled fcamera, bundled with 1.0.7.1 fcam drivers & rebooted. After reboot default camera fails and fcamera gives this output:

Code:
~ $ fcamera

Probably need to update power kernel to match the fcam version. The 2nd error clearly says that you need to be running v44 or later.

Sure, as i understand it, 1.0.7-2 is for kernel v44 upwards. 1.0.7-1 should be the version that works with kernel v42, but in my case it doesnt and thats why im baffled.

I recently reflash my device and reinstalling everything, I realised that the Fcamera version currently in extra-testing does not match power-kernel.
I wonder if the developper of Fcamera are aware of that problem??

I personally have kept the deb file of that matching version but I can understand that for some, it may be disturbing !!

I also have the problem that I can't run 2.6.28.10power42-kernel with fcam-drivers on n900. I already tried to install several different versions of fcam-drivers but I did not succeded.
I read here on maemo-talk that some people downloaded a recompild fcam-drivers_1.0.7-1 for power42-kernel from the user TITAN. It should work with with default cam and bless N900. Unfortunately all the links to download this recompiled driver are now broken and I would like to ask if somebody from this forum could provide this driver (fcam-drivers_1.0.7-1_armel.deb) again?

Thank you very much in advance.
