Hi everyone. My media player stutters when playing any video that I try. I have tried .avi or mp4 videos. After reading several threads here I still couldn't find the possible cause as to why my player couldn't play videos smoothly. The stutters aren't that bad but they are noticeable. I've tried overclocking to 900 mhz and closed all widgets but to no success. I also tried using other players like kmplayer andit still gave me the minor stutters. I even tried converting a video using different bitrates and it still ended up the same way. I would really appreciate any suggestions to solve this issue. Thanks!

I already deleted it but I think the default videos ran flawlessly. I'm hoping all my videos would play the same way.

If you do not still have videos that came with the phone grab one of the trailers on the ovi store and try that instead.

I'll go try that abuelmagd. And if it runs smoothly what can I do to make other videos play the same way?

Some video encodings are tougher to decode than others. decoding video is a cpu intensive task and actually one of the areas where I suspect overclocking would help. I'm not telling you to overclock though if you are not comfortable doing so. I'm just pointing out the link between video decoding and the processor.

I already tried overclocking up to 900mhz but it didn't do any good. I also tried converting the video files using low bitrates. Also tried converting short videos to eliminate thefile size being the factor.

The videos are stored in the phone directory. How can I send the files to you?
