I came across Illumination Software Creator (http://radicalbreeze.com/). Has anyone used this software creator before?

I am interested in any opinions or thoughts on this, especially with regards for someone who is struggling to learn/understand programming (ie me).

well this app dose all the technical stuff for you. i.e the programming.
it draws the box and you just need to throw in some color.

i have it on my lappy and made some basic apps, which turn out pretty well BUT i would like to go in deeper and try some of the technical stuff out which i need to really sit down and read some more FAQ and tutorials.

Thanks for the response; so you would recommend it for a beginner, as a stepping stone?

well it doesnt really teach you much about programming BUT it does help in the way of creating an app without the need of learning the progamming language.
i think it could in the end help you out with learning but thats if you push yourself in to the deepend.

diskusage uses illumination, you might want to have a look at its source.

THANK YOU. I've been trying to locate this for... ages. Didn't even know how to describe it to folks. Just said "draw boxes, it makes the code" and people thought I was crazy.

Once again, thank you hotkolbas for your input.

@ MohammadAG - Thank you for the pointer, I am using diskusage and so if that is what illumination can do...then i am definitely taking the next step. I so much want to contribute with an app for the N900.

@ gerbick - What is crazy, is that this is one of those instances, where you find something totally by accident..looking for one thing (basic excel formulae training/tutorials) and then end up with something totally different - ilumination.

After a full 2 days of playing with it, It's not... all that. But the potential is there though.
