i downloaded song vids on my N900 from youtube but want them in my music player..anybody know any converter so i can convert the flv to mp3 so i could listen to songs frm my musicplayer rather than my video player.

sure, use any video converter like "Total Video Converter" and selecet ur video, and as output just select mp3, so it will change the video>audio, and u can lisn on ur n900 music player

if you wana do this on your phone the best way I have found is one of the many online video conversion sites. just search google for 'online video conversion' most work very well on the n900.
Edit: BTW Some even do youtube to mp3 directly on the site, just input the URL of the youtube video.
used these for many years, when I had lesser phones that didn't take kindly to certain codecs. lol

There are no such programs for N9000, You can download and install a free video to mp3 converter on your pc, then connect your N9000 to your pc, use the converter convert your video to mp3 audio. then transfer the mp3 audios to mp3 player.

Doesn't video converting flex the CPU's muscles awesomely? Because if so then doing it even on an old Pentium M would be better wouldn't it?
But I used to use zamzar.com where you can upload the file, they convert it, and you download the new thing. I was fiddling with it and got it to turn a word .doc into a spoken .mp3.
I have not used this in many moons, though. For all I know it has annoying pop-ups and watermarks or cuts off your cat's whiskers.
