Hi,
I'm new user of N900. Bought it on ebay...
Anyway, seller mentioned it freezes sometimes.... Actually that "sometimes" is nearly everytime when I'm calling or recieving a call.
I have notices it hapends most likely because of proximity sensor - moving close to ear (black screen) and off (turn on again). Then it the phone freezes. Person I'm calling in most of the tests could hear me cursing and so on.. Sometimes phone after freezing was caable to work again after 1-2 min without reset but then I could forget about calling or recieving call - straight away frozen. Sometimes it was restaring itself.
I did reflash it (including eMMC) with most of images from http://tablets-dev.nokia.com ,
Is there anyone who got similiar roblem and did solve it?
P.S.
This model is from Korea....

it's bcoz phone app is buggy. It makes min-cpu-freq dropping to 125 Mhz when using the phone app. Default min-cpu-freq is 250. U can change this by installing titan-power-kernel and pick one of the default power profile ( kernel-config load ideal ) and such avoid 125 Mhz cpu-freq. to install titan-power-kernel go to program manager and install enhanced kernel for power user and enhanced kernel for power user ( settings ) and rootsh by pressing the first letters of the program and select them in the touchpanel and type sudo gainroot and kernel-config load ideal and kernel-config default ideal in x-terminal.

All N900 models are Made in Korea excpet the pre-production models which were given during the Maemo Summit that were Made in Finland.

Overclock the phone since you mentioned that the reflash made no changes..

Hi,
1 - funkmunk - Id did already overlock it but it was still coming down to 125 mhz in idle ... BUT
2. epitaph - Your idea worked perfecty (so far ;-)). Maybe because i did overlock it and after kernel-config load ideal its not coming low with Mhz not lower than 250. I dont remember which package with clock-set-up i did flash N900 with but it WORKS.
Now it appears im on intense linux course..
