what the heck am I going to use as a belt clip to carry this little monster around? I have done a few google searches and am not comming up with much. I am even wondering if I am going to have to get a camera belt case.

Any suggestions? from any of you macho mugen men? Is there a perfect case out there I have not noticed yet?

It's almost as pocketable as with the stock battery and cover. Don't feel pressed to buy a cover in advance, just test it in your pocket how it feels... it could give you also that look of "is it a n900 with Mugen battery in your pocket or you're just happy to see me?" :-)
Btw, I've used the Mugen for several months, now I'm back to the normal battery. For some strange reason I don't know yet, my device seems to last longer even with the small battery. Maybe my using pattern has slowed down, or maybe pr1.3 or some recent reflash did the trick...

by lasts longer you dont mean it is lasting longer with the stock battery as opposed to the mugen I hope...

Nope, of course Mugen has more juice. I was referring to the duration of the small battery now, in comparison to the time I left it for Mugen.

Got my Mugen battery yesterday, first of all. im really impressed by the battery. (so far) much better than the original one.
And the size of the phone is not really an issue, still fits perfectly in my pocket. and to be honest, its much more comfy typing with now. You just have to get used to it being thicker, so after a good week i guess i wont notice the thickness. Not sure if there are any belt pockets for it with the mugen battery though. Why not put it in your pantpocket.
Also , my old battery (stock) was at 84 % from 6 in the morning, to 8 in the morning, from 97%. Mugen was at 97% at 6 in the morning and 94 when i got to work. And this with some sms's.

Kind regards,
Futtawuh

I think I found a perfect case will report back once I test it with mugen.

I myself just received my extended battery and I'm also looking for a case.

If not, what is this on off button on the back cover?
No lens cover. The on/off slider is to make the N900 think the cover is open or closed so it knows when to turn on the camera app.
