my video is stuttering . i installed pr 1.3 and it works great . I have install some apps and it started again . so i want to uninstall everything and add one by one. where do i get the Pr. 1.2 and then i will install Pr 1.3 . or how do i uninstall Pr 1.3 and add it again. Can someone tell me if this is the right way to do it ??

You can't uninstall it, if you want to go back to PR1.2 you'll need to reflash the firmware, or you can flash a fresh PR1.3. Make sure you do a backup before you flash.

When I say can't, I'm sure it is possible, but it could get messy since it isn't intended for you to downgrade it, I wouldn't recommend trying.

The only way to get rid of PR1.3 is to downgrade to PR1.2

Don't worry PR1.2 will be working just fine, despite some apps that use QT 4.7 in Extra-Devel won't run or cannot be installed on it that's all.

Downgrade to PR1.1 and below will cause your Cellular to stop working.

you should just full flash your phone (emmc if you want) with pr1.3 to erase everything on the phone and still have a fresh new pr1.3, what are you trying to do is like having windows 7 and you want to get back to vista to erase everything when you can just format with windows 7

what is the best way to reflash or easy way . I have searched but there is so many ways its confusing. I have never flashed tbe N900 . so i am kinda worried I might brock my phone . i will need step by step . I also have wondows 2000 as my pc . I know its old .

from your situation, it sounds like you need to reflash the kernel and then restore everything except your apps list.

Is there a reason the command-line flasher won't work on Win2k? There wouldn't be any harm in trying, otherwise you can download a Linux distro (e.g. Ubuntu) and flash when running from CD/USB, if you want to run a linux distro from a USB drive I recommend unetbootin for loading it onto the USB drive (and it can download the distro as well if you want it to).
