i am currently running maemo and nitdroid, i have recently read there are more OS that you can BOOT from (i mean not opening Debian LXDE from maemo). i wanted a list of what OS work on N900.

i am using multiboot and if i want to install a OS could you help me install.

I know you can build and boot gentoo on it.

is there a video because i dont want to install a OS without looking at it

oh just looked at it, im really confused with so many Distos of linux, im not a advanced user for computers but close to advance users. i dont like compiling i rather look at someones instructions and just type it.

At present yout choice is really between maemo5 and nitdroid. Hopefully MeeGo will add to them, possibly with the Cordia user interface; it isn't ready by now, though.

There are also SHR and Debian, but they are still wip...

Wouldn't ChromiumOS be easy to boot? All you need is an image.

I haven't been able to find an image of Chromium OS for ARM yet. If anyone can, I'll attempt a port.
