the n900 is already a monster, but imagine browsing the web or doing whatever else and listening to music at the same time. now wouldn't it be nice to tap on the menu bar where the clock, internet connection, and profile is, and be able to pause/play or skip to the next track from there instead of having to do it from the desktop everytime. im just saying that would be sick.

I also like the idea of a menubar applet. But for now you can already control the media player using the camera key - you just need to install shortcutd.
