okay im about to buy the n770 (maybe the n800 if i can afford it)
its going to be a present for graduating uni and getting a good job. however i want to develop for it.. as the title states i have experiance in developing vb.net is there any way that i can port over my projects or is it a lost cause??

In theory, you should be able to. In practice it may require a bit of effort because you may need to compile the VB.NET compiler. See these links for more info on Mono, the Linux equivalent of .NET:

thanks for the quick response, i run a simple winform app with a label and a button through there checker app and it came up with errors, however until i get one i wont know for sure .

now i have to see whether its worth it to pay the extra for the 800 as opposed to the 770
