Hi Forum

I'm selling my N800 (I know!) and need to get rid of all personal data (SD cards will be removed) - will a re-flash do that?

I've read this thread http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=30645 and there seems to be some conflict.

Can anyone of you experts say for definite?

thanks

Yes, an N800 without cards only has the NAND flash for storage, and re-flashing reverts all its partitions partitions except one to a know default state. The exception is the "config" partition. The only user-supplied data that contains is the device lock code, so make sure you reset it manually to the default, or provide the buyer with the one you have entered to avoid confusing them.
