Hey guys i am not sure whether there is any other post that is similar to this ,,, in default the n900 screens are only in landscape mode with some apps have portrait mode ,,,

but now is there any update to change the default orientation to landscape to portrait modes & vice versa ?

Use the Power Search Button on top right & search for the term CSSU

That is the Community firmware for the N900 that has changes to the N900 orientation...

No there is no update from Nokia...

Try the CSSU...It's made by the wonderful community members...

It fixes all the faults Nokia should have fixed in the first place...

sure dude will give it a hand ,,,, but how to install those ? am kinda a newbie to repositerios and other stuff

Go here http://wiki.maemo.org/Community_SSU using your n900 browser and click on "Install".

sure will try it soon dude :P


but will uninstall possibly be available in the app manager for this jus like any other app or how shud i uninstall it if i dont like it & come back to the nokia PR 1.3 ??

U can either do a full reflash or uninstall it directly from the app manager....
