Caught this off my Twitter stream:

http://www.meegoexperts.com/2011/03/...ng-nokia-n900/

It shows the MeeGo tablet UX on a N900. Anyone on the MeeGo mailing list will know about this.

Anyone getting around to trying it, posting video and sharing results?

Orientation of the screen and speed are not of course anything amazing, but i'm surprised how nicely the UI translates to the N900, example how nicely the panel view is on the small 3.5" screen.

This seems an exciting developement do you think it is possible that we may get the meego tab UI as the default UI on top of the meego os in the not to distant future on the N900?

Could that mean we could also get most of the meego apps & even flash 10 as well on the N900, assumsing the CPU etc is up to running the apps?

Keep up your fantastic work.

As far as I can tell, Intel intends this to be a unified UX for handset, IVI and tablet. So maybe N900 DE will move in this direction

Flash 10 isn't related to this discussion - if someone compiles it for MeeGo ARM, it might work - as with any MeeGo app.

What about Chromium? That was the default browser on the netbook UX when I tried it out. Is it on the n900 port?

We have chromium but there's multiple choices ongoing, most work is ongoing in fennec-qt currently..

If the Tablet UX is this scalable, what's the point then with the separate Handset UI which seems to use a different UX paradigm at least to some extent?
