Hey - I'm working on stabilizing AbiWord on N800 - (at least the first) issue is that the current version (2.4.6) is compiled against Mistral, and certain actions (like sleep, etc) have changed in Bora (ABI-incompatible) and so we need a recompile. I know that, and I'm working on itAll versions of AbiWord should save to MS Doc just fine - I personally use RTF for anything I have to share, ABW for things I keep to myself. The 2.4.6 build (and the later ones I will make to fix the N800 problems) supports ODT.
BTW - As long as you don't let the tablet fall asleep or click to the right of the right-hand margin, Abi 2.4.6 Mistral is actually somewhat usable on Bora/N800 - I'm hoping those two issues, and the difficulty with word import, will work better when I recompile - esp. since I just got a bluetooth keyboard for my N800 so I want to take rich-text notes and create docs on the move. Patience is a virtue
Thanks for using AbiWord!
Thanks for any help you can offer.
