Just got my Nokia 770. I love it. I tried to download goole map but failed. I followed the instruction here, http://gnuite.com:8080/nokia770/maemo-mapper/.
and put a Google map address , http://mt.google.com/mt?n=404&v=w2.29&x=%d&y=%d&zoom=%d, in map repositories. after doing this, a small windows poped up, indicating "error in download".
Please help me.
Use one of the URL formats in the Maemo Mapper Repositories thread, or simply use the "Download..." button in the "Manage Repositories" dialog.

I am trying to install the newest version of the Mapper, version 1.46. I was told "unable to install. some pacages rquired for the installation are missing." I need another packages?

Are you typing the URL format in manually? Because the characters "..." (three periods in a row) shouldn't be in the actual URL format. Tap and hold on the URL and select "Copy URL to Clipboard", then use the copied URL. Or just use the "Download..." button in the "Manage Repositories" dialog.
