hi all,

at first sorry for my bad english!

I tryed to completly flash my n900 (incl vanilla image)

what i did so far: the flasher and both images are placed at "c:\flash".

i pressed the "u"-key, connected my phone by usb-cable to my pc (os: vista 32), opened CMD and typed following commands:

cd /flash
flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f

then:

flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin -f –R

... but there my problems start! vista asked me if i want to start the flasher, then a new cmd-window opened for about 1 second and then nothing happens anymore!

so can some one please help me?

i made it! can't believe it!

i took out the battery, pressed 'U', pluged in the usb-cable, put the battery back in and then typed in

"flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin -f –R"

into the CMD!

don't know why, but it worked this time!

Congratulation, but seriously think about switching Vista to something at least half decent. Everyone who purchased Vista should get a free copy of Win7 and that was my idea. :P
