Why does CNN's new web page not work with the 770 (latest official firmware)? They just changed their site this week, I believe, and it no longer works on the 770. The problem exists on "internal" story pages (once you click from the home page). CNN now has a tabbed method of displaying their stories, but nothing appears on these internal pages other than the navigation, story summary bullet points, and then right-hand navigation and bottom navigation. The story is complete missing! Has anyone solve this problem? If I click on the "read tab," the page does nothing. There is, however, significant whitespace left where the story would exist.

I wonder what web page technology is being used by CNN that causes this behavior?

Yup, same problem here. I noticed this when CNN did that big "upgrade" to their site, and I experienced exactly the same problems described above. This was with the latest Firefox running on Puppy Linux 2.14 on a desktop computer.

Just got the Nokia 770, and was hoping that it wouldn't do the same thing. It does. Just a blank space where the story should be.

The CNN site does work on Firefox running on SuSE 10.0 on another computer here, but I went out of my way to put a lot of aftermarket media support on that system. I guess the problems with the CNN site are Flash- or Ajax-related.

Still, it's ludicrous to to put these kind of obstacles in the way of people who basically just want to read simple text. What a joke. Talk about over-engineering something into uselessness.
