I have an N800, which came with a pseudo-screen protector (which I'm told is actually just a shipping film). I got the BoxWave Anti-Glare protector and really like it so far (only about two weeks so far) - makes the screen easy to drag and type on, and I can touch the screen with my finger without making it sticky/greasy. I like it and would recommend it. (it's one of the re-usable washable ones)

770 here, used it hard including letting some kids use it as a sketch tablet - they loved it - but alas I now have a screen with a dead-spot which needs replacing. I'll stick a protector on the replacement.

The screen protectors I'm using on my 770 and N800 are
cell-phone/smartphone protectors which happen to be big
enough for the tablet screens.
They give the screen surface a bit of a leather-like texture
which is good for using it with fingers. You leave absolutely no traces.
The stylus scratches the surface a bit, but that's negligible.
All in all I'm happy with the protectors. The one on my 770
has been there for about a year and still no signs of wearing off.
I don't remember the brand and they were actually rather cheap.

I started with one of those reusable screen protectors, they are a little bit thicker and stiffer than the use-once ones I use on my Palm. Had to get rid of it right away, the screen on the N800 seems to be too soft for the reusable screen protectors -- there were about a hundred small bubbles which wouldn't go away. Removed the protector, been happy since. Everything that looked like scratches turned out to be smudges, they go away with careful (think optical mirror cleaning) appliance of cotton, lukewarm water and soap.

I still have "original" n800's protector. But I will replace it with psp's one this week probably. We'll see...

Also, consider this: the PSP does not have a touch screen, so PSP screen protectors are not designed to be used with a stylus.

Just got my Cleartouch antiglare screen protector. So far so good, i'm liking better than not having one.

I don't have a link handy, but I got some German made "hard" screen protector made for the N800. Its frickin amazing. Super clear, and doesn't affect anything.
It was linked to previously, a vendor on eBay imports them.
I highly suggest using a screen protector. I managed to gouge a deep scratch with a bitten fingernail on my previous N800
Luckily the whole mess of Nokia losing my tablet got me a brand new one.

I guess probably my biggest concern about the screen is how the OS seems very mousey so-to-speak, and also how it seems like drag-and-drop type maneuvers might be especially rough.
My 770 is brand new.
