hey i wanna overclock my n900. i know i have to install enhanced kernel for power users and enhanced kernel for power users ( settings) and then i get overclock through maxcpu. but i cant find the kernel in application manager. i can see enhanced kernel for power users( obsolete) and enhanced kernel for power users (settings) should i download the obsolete one and the settings? or is it some other kernel?
help would be appreciated thanks

No, Don't download kernel for power user (obsolete),Its fake

try searching in remove application list , may be it's already installed ?
or update catalogs again and then search

hey i did update but still no such kernel and not in my remove list as well. what should i do

check your catalogs if all are visible .

yup all are. extras, extras-devel and extras-testing.
what should i do?

hey i do get this kernel. it says linux kernel for power user and below it linux kernel kernel for power user(boot image). is this the one?

yup the first one .
linux kernel for power user and enhance linus kernel for power user(settings)
these two files are needed .

dont install the boot image file as i also dont know what purpose is it for.
checked my remove app list to confirm and i have installed the first file , linux kernel for power user

ok after i install these 2, i install maxcpu and can change the frequency right? i donot have to do anything else right?
