I found a python api that someone wrote for the Amazon Cloud Player, so I am considering writing an application for maemo to play music from an amazon cloud player account.

Before I started writing the application I wanted to gauge interest. You can get 5gb for free to put your music in, and if you purchase an album (they have some albums for 99cents I think) you can get 20gb worth of space.

Let me know if you are interested, and what features you would be interested in.

I'd b more interested in seeing a "cloud mounter" that lets you mount it like an NFS point. Then we could use whatever MP3 player we want, and/or access non-music files on it.
