Because it's something like empty card reader or cd/dvd drive. You see it in "My Computer" even if it is empty.

I used to have a 16gb microSD on the slot and it worked well.
But after I removed it from the n900 it still keeps showing it in usb storage mode but of course is not possible to open there is no microSD inserted.
how can I fix this? (without reflashing)
