I just bought a Nokia N900 recently. However, i find that it's quite hard to get good free application. For example, i've downloaded the angry bird. But it only lite version, so i can only play up to certain level only. Is there any better application that i can get for ma N900?

Everything, including bricking itself. Be careful with extras-devel!

This is counter productive, even if it is bricked due to some poor application it can be reflashed pretty easily so it isn't truly bricked in the sense of no longer usable.

Check the post I just made here: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=73940 to see what else it can do.

If you didn't enable anything extras in the application manager then you current category is the stable one.

Sorry to p!ss in your cereal but if you bought the N900 for gaming, you went with the wrong platform. That is, plug'n'play-out-of-the-box kind of stuff is not what the N900 is for. If you are willing to take the more adventurous path, particularly on gaming, do a search on Preenv or a dualboot option with NITDroid (no you can't make phone calls with it yet, everything else works like on an Android phone).

Word of caution though: read the wikis/instruction pages carefully and backup everything with an app called BackupMenu before venturing onto the path less traveled.

Use the power search function on this website, it answers 90% of the questions you may have. Yes, it takes some time to get through the lengthier threads, but in the end it'll be all the more worth it. Have fun!
