I'm trying to get on onto the maemo 5 developer intro interaction video on maemo.nokia.com/n900/ but can't seem to get on it. Will it come back to normal or is the swipe.nokia.com a permanent change for that link?

You'd need to ask Nokia in order to get an official answer, but I expect that maemo.nokia.com has joined tableteer.nokia.com in the great beyond.

I cannot believe this. Can't Nokia keep a site to remember what it had and still has? Isn't the fact that they ignored the N900 enough? They have to completely wipe all traces of it? They should be ashamed of themselves.

Congratulations, your treasured Maemo device has been unceremoniously dumped by Nokia in favor of their latest trophy wife device, and you now qualify for Bitter Old Hand status on maemo.org. Though you've earned the right, please try to refrain from laughing ominously as the fresh-faced newbies begin to arrive for the N9, posting their excited, gushing comments.

At least this time, Nokia are holding in plain view the knife destined for the slick, new device's back. Our new community members should come in with a better idea of where this ride is going.

Just think of the day the swipe.nokia.com site will silently turn to show a wp7 device

However if you really want it, http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/htt...okia.com/n900/

Website http://maemo.nokia.com is redirected to http://swipe.nokia.com/

Why? Swipe has nothing with Maemo and nothing with N900!
