Assuming it's a hardware problem, I guess you'll need to take it apart and make sure the cable attaching the screen to the motherboard is connected and in-tact. If you google "N900 Service Manual" it shows how to disassemble and repair/replace various parts.

i was installing apps n all of a sudden the touch screen stopped working???
it happened after installing google picture to text alpha translator. .
will post other apps installed. .
i ve tried everything but my n900 just wont respond. . keyboard n other buttons r fine. . . tried flashing n flashing again but no help!!!!
can someone plz help me with this or are my maemo days over!!!
