Hello everybody,

I've ported OpenXCom (WIP) for n900.

if you want to try it get it here (read instructions)

You will need the original DOS files.
This is first build, use at own risk.
Music right now not supported (in my port at least)

Thanks, I myself tried to port this engine a week ago but it segfaulted after loding screen. The sound might work wit libsdl-mixer1.2.8 since the engine has problems with 1.2.6, but you probably already worked that out yourself.

Mik546, yeah I was getting the same segfault but only on the release version not on the debug version so I figured it was the the optimization flag, sure thing set -O to 0 instead of 2 and everything works ok.

i installed deb file, then created openxcom folder and extraced contents from ExtraData.zip and UFO Enemy Unknown data in that folder.

But when I start game it says that it can't find data files...

the files are case sensitive and should all be in uppercase
(the DOS ones)
and under MyDocs/openxcom

All DOS files are in uppercase.
Also I downloaded 5 different UFO: Enemy Territory data files, and for all them i got same error. Can you give me download link to your data files?

FAQ of OpenXCom states that savegames from regular version are not compatible.

i'll look into savegames also note that this is a WIP port
meaning that the engine is not 100% complete yet.

Wooow!
I finally managed to start the game Problem was in DATA compatibility, I found compatible data files, and game works!
But when I entered in battle, game crashed.

But great work!!! I am waiting for new version ASAP!
