I'm new here and just got my 770 five days ago. Some help of yours would be greatly appreciated.
My 770's bluetooth is not working properly. 8 out of 10 times, when I use the command "hcitool scan" command in xterm, it gives me an error saying:
"Device is not available: No such device". Not only my GPS receiver, but also my cell phone is not visible those times. I go to Maemo Mapper and try to find the receiver, the result is again the same; it never finds.
The "Reset Bluetooth" menu in Maemo Mapper was giving me an error about /etc/sudoers file. I read gnuite's manual and according to that I added "user ALL = NOPASSWD: /usr/sbin/hciconfig hci0 reset" line to this file. At first, this worked well for a couple of times. It was resetting the bluetooth and then finding the receiver. Then it started to give the same error message as before.
Is there a major problem with my 770 or can it be fixed?
