Hi people.

I have added a note at the end of another thread, but thought I'd start my own thread too.

I have never honestly really bonded with my N900, probably because I didn't know enough about it and what it was all about when I took it as an upgrade.

Anyways, to cut a long story short - it went in for repair and after a bit of a saga, I have today collected a replacement N900 direct from Nokia. I'm wondering if anyone has a good E7 (or similar), that they perhaps got as a replacement for their N900, that they might want to swap me ? I am more of a typical mobile phone user, I do not use half of the features of an N900, and in fact would prefer to just go back to a normal phone, that can do MMS etc - which I really miss.

If anyone is interested in doing a swap, just let me know.Cheers.

Bryan

I'd recommend asking a friend or someone with an E7 to let you use it for a day or something, that way you'll genuinely know whether or not you will regret your choice. i did this with an N8 and ended up keeping my n900.

+ There is an app called fMMS which fills in the void MMS gap. Works perfectly in my experience.

Thanks for the reply mate. I get where you are coming from, but I honestly just want to go back to a traditional phone. As mad as it sounds to most people on here I'd suspect - I even tried to go back to my N95 8BG over my N900, but after replacing a few parts on the N95 I just couldnt get it to work. Don't get me wrong, I wouldnt swap someone my N900 for an N95, but I think you get what I mean.

I wouldn't have an N8, as it has no qwerty keyboard, and for some weird reason I just like a proper keyboard - not into touch screen only, which is why I never went down the Iphone route.

Well there are alot of people getting E7s from Nokia against their will after sending in n900 due to usb broken... So I'd imagine there'd be lots of people willing to swap E7 for N900...
