It does not load the mobile (smartphone) version, only the dumbphone version. Don't think the n9 browser allows for location sharing.

Can anyone confirm if maps.google.com works on the N9
It is supposed to load a mobile version of a web-based google maps
for more information: http://googlemobile.blogspot.com/201...e-browser.html
This is the only thing keeping me from buying the N9, i need google maps
