Only reliable people I see at the moment are Expansys, who have the 16GB up for £540. I think this is a bit steep - though I'd rather pay more and not be mucked about, I would've thought £500 would get me the 64GB version

Anyone in the UK already bought one? Am I better off importing? taking a trip onto the continent?

I got mine from a denmark ebayer! but think that was a one off load. Have you considered using "quidco" in conjuction with buying online from say Expansys? you get a reasonable cash back amount at least. I did this with mine on ebay and got £15. Expansys would give about 6% i think! you have to wait a few months and there is a £5 a year that comes out of your earnings! you should have a read!

http://www.quidco.com/expansys-uk/

just had a look, you would get £27 back!

Jalyst: Is there a policy that says we should try and combine things in huge uber threads? Personally I prefer shorter, more tightly focussed threads, I can subscribe to the thread without getting lots of mildly related info.

e.g. in this case, the set of people who want to buy an N9 in the UK != set of people who want to buy it from a French retailer.

I bought one from Handtec:
http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php...locked--black-

It was faulty and I returned it (they've been very helpful so far and I'm waiting for a replacement).

Aside from Expansys:

(who currently the 16gb in stock but not 64gb)

There's also Purely Gadgets

I've not dealt with Purely Gadgets before, I have no idea how reliable they are.

The point of referring the OP to those threads...
Is that they're focused around his/her subject matter, & there's plenty of folks already subscribed, hence lotsa eyes.
Doesn't make sense to have a dozen or more threads of the same or very similar subjects.
Folks aren't going to subscribe to every single one of them etc.
If you search those threads (ideally skim-read much of it if you have time) for "UK" or similar key-words, you'll get lotsa ideas.

Yes of course there's no policy, you're most welcome to start a splinter thread.
But you can 'bet your bottom dollar' that what the OP's asking, has been discussed countless times in those threads.
And is constantly being re-defined, thanks to dialogue back & forth in them.

Anyone had a good experience with www.ipmart.com? Seems far too cheap when I've done the google currency conversion, £365 including delivery..

Always think if something seems too cheap then its not worth the risk.

Optimist. Mind you, ex VAT Expansys and Handtec prices are below £500 for 64Gb model ...
