Hi experts, is there any way to edit the text automatically comes when I try to reply to incoming call by SMS.

N9 default text is "I will call you later"

Turns out, I didn't even know you could answer a call with a text before.

I assume this was added in PR1.2 maybe?

Well, nonetheless. To edit the text, when you receive the call, and select to send SMS, you can edit it right on there.

It's just a standard message, so you can type right on.

If you mean change the default to a different one permanently (to not have to manually edit it each time... then I'm not so sure)

It would be nice to have a menu of several pre-defined texts to choose from, each of which could be edited in advance.

The text is from the localization file in
/usr/share/l10n/meegotouch/
its name is telephony_[COUNTRY_CODE].qm
(telephony_en.qml for example)

You could copy this file to your desktop and use
QtLinguist for opening and changing the text
(for qtn_call_msg_default_text)
And copy the qm file back to your device.
(reboot may be necessary).

regards
Nicolai

Nicolai, you are the man...

It worked exactly as you've explained. Opened the file with QT, edit, reboot and there it is....

Thanks a million...

Br.
