I have my mail on my N9 set at 20 minute intervals. It hasn't picked up in 2-3 hours. Any thoughts behind this?

I'm struggling with battery life and now this. Not off to a good start on simple operations.

Which way did you set up your mail account (i.e. MfE, Google, etc)?

Is your phone in power saver mode? If so it won't update MfE.

Thanks for the reply. Well, here is what is interesting. One is an AT&T account and he other is a yahoo. I set them both up as "other". When I delete one, almost immediately the e-mails on the server start to deliver to my phone.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm not going to be able to have both e-mail accounts. Almost like they are competing against one another and causing the phone to hang up.

*Didn't set them up in MfE. Also not in power saving mode.

If you set them both up as MfE, they should retrieve automatically...it's a known bug with the other kinds of e-mail accounts. At least, that's how it is on my N9.

There are tons of settings I don't know the answer to for setting up yahoo in MfE. Are they posted somewhere for dummies like myself?

I have two mail accounts (Yahoo and Windows Live) set up as "Other", and they both auto-update perfectly now with no conflicts. The N9 can handle two "Other" accounts - so I'd suggest your problem may lie elsewhere, unless it's some sort of conflict with your mail servers?

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Well, after a whole day pretty much of tweaking I may have taken care of the problem.

The default yahoo e-mail configuration has the "free-nokia" extension at the beginning of it. I assume that is for Ovi Mail??

That has cured my battery drain issue and both my e-mail accounts are now working as "other mail account".

I also have yahoo other account and sometimes have problems with updating. The server address starts with free-nokia. What did you change to make it work? Thanks
