Hello all,

I read some reviews of Nokia N9 and 701, and they have similar hardware spec except the OS (meego and belle).

If you want to buy between N9 and 701, which one will you choose?

I think Belle has more apps than Meego, but I also want to share your ideas.

Galaxy Note only runs 2.3 whereas 4.0.3 is the newest out there.

Go for the 701 or hold off for the 808.

Thank you all for the comments. BTW, which OS do you prefer between Meego and Belle? I'm currently having a dilemma with OS because I think Symbian has more apps than Meego.

I know you are able to install any debian packages for ARM processor, but in practice I think Belle has more apps available than Meego.

Which one is better OS platform?

701 seems very well built, I like symbian, but I think N9's swipe ui is addictive, and with 1Gb ram and cortex CPU it has an edge in performance too. Not so many apps for sure, but even against belle meego feels 10 years newer. And IM integration is something you can't go back from.

Thank you for your advice. I checked the price for two phones, and N9 (64GB) was average $100 more expensive than 701. I still don't know which one I need to buy because 701 has more number of apps available than N9. Even Swipe UI and the cutting-edge performance are tempting, but I'm still hesitating between two phones for the apps.
They have same 1GHz processor, and both phones are fast enough to do multitasks. It will be great if I can get more opinions from others.

If you want purely apps go for andorid. If you don't bother about apps choose N9 instead of 701. Also you can choose cheaper 16gb N9 version if the money is main reason.
