Hi
I'm trying to port xclip to N900.
I'm getting problems while compiling. It's my first port and I'm not that experienced on it.

Code:
dpkg-buildpackage: source package is xclip
dpkg-buildpackage: source version is 0.12-1maemo1
dpkg-buildpackage: source changed by
dpkg-buildpackage: host architecture armel
dpkg-buildpackage: source version without epoch 0.12-1maemo1
: Using Scratchbox tools to satisfy builddeps
 fakeroot debian/rules clean
dh clean
Undefined subroutine &main::inhibit_log called at /usr/bin/dh line 224.
Why is it happening? I installed debhelper (>= 7), and the other build deps

I tried and no problem compiling (on device)
- download from sourceforge to pc
- transfert to N900
Code:
cat xclip-0.12.tar.gz | ssh user@192.168.1.77 cat ">" xclip-0.12.tar.gz
- log to N900
Code:
ssh user@192.168.1.77
- uncompress
Code:
gunzip xclip-0.12.tar.gz
- unarchive
Code:
tar -xf xclip-0.12.tar
cd xclip-0.12
- install libxmu-dev
Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get install libxmu-dev
exit
- configure
Code:
./configure
- make
Code:
make
- build package
I am not too good at packaging

i did import xclip already ... wanna double check ?

but if u want to build on device let me suggest to try something simpler like connect-proxy
