Anyone figure out how to actually use Audiobooks with PR1.2? I have quite a few from iTunes (are they DRM?) and they don't show up at all in the media player..

I know there is an app in the Nokia Store, but, it doesn't appear to be getting much love..

I only tried audio books without DRM. To get the option of saving the audio book play position I set the genre tag in my mp3s to "Audiobook".

Since PR1.2 the build in music player of the N9 does exactly that.
I use it daily for listening to audio books.
(With PR1.1 I used Python to save play positions)

Have you seen the "audiobook reader" app in the Nokia store?
It's free and supports last position and bookmarks and ask you need.
Don't know if it supports drm.

The best description I know can be found at the author's webpage http://kunalmaemo.blogspot.com/2011/...le-for-n9.html
And yes-it works under 1.2 ;-)

Yeah I am using that app and love it! I guess I have never tried with an audible file but highly doubt it will work. Will test later.
