Hi can I get the app screen to adjust like it does in this link? If you watch the video you can also see that he's using a live animating background. I would like to do something similar, but I don't know how.

Edit: For the app loading question and suggestion look further down in this thread. (Post 5 and 6)

There are a few apps in Nokia Store that helps you rotate your home screen. This is one of them:

For the backgrounds, I think this page might help you out:

Thanks, I ask myself why I didn't do a search in Nokia Store before asking my questions. Hopefully this is helpful to others at least.

I found another app that must have been used in the video link I posted.
It can unlock the orientation in the home screen and also has a setting for animated background sine waves in different colors.

plenty of such hacks have been outlined in the guide, many have been turned into apps since

Thanks Jalyst. While I have your attention.....Sometimes when I start an app I miss a splash screen or something telling me that Meego is working on opening the app I just clicked. It feels like it takes a long time. It probably isn't that bad compared to other phones, but the lack of a visual loading animation makes it feel like forever sometimes and I find myself wondering if I really clicked the app or not.

Has anyone done some kind of tweak that does this? Maybe a tweak that makes the icon that's been clicked in the home screen wobble or animate in size. I think opening apps will feel faster and the confusion if the app was clicked or not would disappear.

Something like this. In this picture the "Drive"-app in the Home screen is clicked. An outer glow pulsates around the icon and a loading bar is showing the progress:

There's some themes/hacks that play with transition animations (doco'd in the guide IIRC).
But I don't recall anyone trying anything like your suggestion, it's a novel idea...

I'm glad you guys liked it. I'm not familiar with enhancement requests, but please do one for me if you can

I'm sure more will like this solution. My idea is kind of hidden in this thread though.
