Has anyone tried to port the Dasher input method to the Internet Tablet?
http://www.inference.phy.cam.ac.uk/dasher/

Might be another interesting way to type.

Dasher is really counter-intuitive with a stylus, unless you happen to be lefthanded; your stylus hand is in the way of what you should be looking at.

There are talks of a special Dasher for pens, but AFAIK they're just that: talks.

Good point. However, it should not be difficult to have it move from right to left, or from top to bottom.

No matter how you do it, you'll either find that your hand is in the way or the flow is completely counter-intuitive (Dasher moving from right to left means you'll have to complete words in the opposite direction of how you normally read them). Up-down or vv. gives the same problems.

Just face it: Dasher is not suited for stylus input and probably never will be.

Hmm thats funny given the screenshot on their homepage:

Maybe that is just an indication of how well it works on a tablet.

He/she appears to hold the stylus on its top though?
