i do have one new problem regarding email. i tried to setup my gmail account on my n770 email program, but when it tries to access my account i keep on getting an error that says something like "pop error, could not access your account." i rechecked and checked again my user names, pop/smtp accounts, passwords and my gmail settings (to activate pop account), but no luck. my google talk and gaim seems to be working fine though... any ideas?
i just received my 770 today and started playing with it for the last 6 hours...
i'm not a real techie (though i pretend to be one in front of my friends), but somehow i did manage to install the os2007 update. so far, i've encountered two major issues and i was wondering if you could help me... the questions may be dumb so please bear with me:
1. on the maemo site, i noticed some bug fixes listed. how do i install them onto my 770? when i tried downloading the patch, it didn't give me an option to "install" like other programs
2. also, i tried to install gpe-calendar and my 770 gave me an error. however, i was able to install gpe-contacts... what gives?
if anyone could help me out, i'd certainly appreciate it.
thanks,
sam
