naah, skip it. maybe they from maemo get jelauos and instead coding new firmware and porting applications, they start buying popcorn & soda and watch television.

and seriously.. flashing over to poky is a bit risky, it's a experimental version, of what i heard.

I tried it too. It looks pretty but be aware, as relate on the other sight the WiFi is not working yet. What they didn't mention is that neither is the web browser or the media player. It does not respond (at least in my case) to the hardware power switch. Also the on-screen keyboard is prone to crashing and not really thumb-able (yeah i know it's not a word)

If you want to shut it down and the keyboard is working you can go into terminal and do a 'shutdown -h now'. If you don't have access to the keyboard you have to pull the battery.

I would have to agree with the previous poster to skip it until it cooks some more.

I've successfully installed it on my N800, check out my blog for a video of me using Poky on my N800.
