I'm thinking of buying these:
http://www.amazon.com/MEElectronics-...6848758&sr=8-1

Do you think they will work well with the n900? (because of the different nokia headphone jack)

Also has anyone tried them or something from this company before?

Thanks

They've got a normal 3.5mm jack as far as i can see, so they should work.

but the jack in the n900 has an extra "line" for the video out. Some headphones don't work with it.

i have a Sony - DR 270DP - Headset ( ear-cup )
it has a micro opening in the left cup for the mic and the connector is a little twisted in that it has a mic / phone connector but the mic comes as a separate line and can be fitted to a separate mic connector
(see http://www.waybeta.com/uploads/topic...3811-38317.jpg )

unless the manufacturer did something very odd it will work just fine

My Klipsch in-ear buds don't work on the N900 without carefully jiggling the connector. I recommend buying NOKIA headphones, my NOKIA WH-700 have worked great (except for control buttons not working, however the mic works just fine with skype).

yes, has a (3.5 mm?) jack that fits right into the N900 connector (& mic works)
thanks to the detachable mic connector, it is also usable on PCs with two distinct connectors (headset and mic)

Standard 3.5mm connectors should all work with the N900.
Non-standard 3.5mm connectors with, for example, an in-line mic for the iPhone won't work without some trial and error in plugging in the cable or a cheap 1-5 buck adapter.
(My AKG Q350s don't work with the N900, but the my K518LEs do, the first has an inline mic and remote, the latter doesn't)

What Mohammad said.

If it helps though, I've currently got a pair of ME9s that work perfectly, don't see why ME6s should be different.
