I'm toying around writing a desktop in QML2/Qt 5 for fun, Maemo5 inspired, possibly eventually to drop on top of Mer to have a useful desktop for my kitchen.
Anyway, while it's a long way off completion, I'm seeking ideas on interaction/interactivity as to how to make a mobile desktop more useful to you, especially WRT desktop widgets and stuff. Fire away!
If you're curious as to what I have so far, take a look at these, arranged newest to oldest:

i'm a Qt expert and former Jolla sailor (forever sailing, in spirit).

if you find me entertaining, or useful, thank me. if you don't, then tell me why.
