Hi,
I've had problems with since PR 1.1. Syncing with Google Contacts with an account set up as MfE.
Was hoping that this would be resolved with 1.2 and now 1.3 but still having issues.
Did an OTA update to 1.3 first. No luck. Deleted all accounts on my N9 and reflashed with nokia software updater.
The problem is I still have 33 contacts on the phone with no info on them except their names and some have profile pictures.
I try and delete them with erase contacts but that doesn't work.

Is there some contact cache that can be cleared with a command?

Don't want to do a factory reset cause then I'll loose all my sms/mms messages. Just want to clear the contacts and sync again and hopefully it will work.

Thanks!

Any ideas?
Now I also get the error message "Can't import contacts" when trying to sync contacts from Facebook.

It seems like there are some crap on the phone blocking some contacts. Would just like to purge that and resync without having to do a factory reset .

unfortunately, your contacts store is the same as your messages store: tracker. there might be a way to specifically nuke just the contacts, but I never remembered it if there is.

if you're comfortable losing a *lot* of data (messages, etc) and forcing reindexing of all media on your phone, which will be slow for a while - then you can run tracker-control -rs, but this may have unforseen consequences. I don't recommend this except as a last resort before a reflash.
